Funeral for Richard Schmidt

Hi, my name is Taylor Murphy and I’m raising funds to cover funeral costs for my friends Cortney and Montana Schmidt who sadly lost their father Richard Schmidt, on September 28th 2022. It is very unlike these girls to ask for any help, but in order to lay their father to rest in the right way, help is needed. The amount i am raising would cover the funeral, as the girls now have a ton of other expenses to pay for with little to no support from anyone.

Richard was a generous, kind, and quiet man who spent his life taking care of his daughters and had so much more life to live. To have to worry about covering funeral costs while grieving and caring for other matters has been painful, tiring and unbearable for Cortney. Any amount counts, big or small, I know the girls would appreciate having any amount of relief during this time. This family has been through a lot more than I can put into words.
