Richard Schmoldt-Funeral Expense Service in Story

Donation protected
I am sad to share that my Uncle Rick, My moms brother has passed away. Rick was generous, warm and hilarious. He was the most fun loving guy we know. He loved his family including his parents Mary and Leonard Schmoldt, his sister Shawni Brown, his son's Trae his biological son, his adopted son James and his Nieces and their children. His All the kids loved Rick he would give them nice gifts and cash just for visiting him. Rick was especially a good son and loved his mother to the moon. Rick would also want us to mention his Aunt Charlene Adams who loved him unconditionally.

Rick was a genius and inventor and had stepped away from a regular job to get his invention patented. His invention was to reduce energy costs and it is brilliant. It was recently featured in a show hosted by Ted Danson "Advancements in technology" it is about innovations in the US. This will be his contribution to the US. He gave up everything to get his patent and was living week to week to get this going. He had the right connections and had come to Dallas to work with a billionare in Texas and had gotten through his initial meetings. He also got the attention of Carlos Slim who wanted this in his hotels in Mexico. He had signed a contract with Dotties Casinos in Las Vegas and with Walmart. It is a huge loss that he ran out of time and only beta testing installs have been complete. The beta tests were showing a significant savings of 30% + cost savings on electricity. He was living week to week between contracts and meetings but worked side jobs thanks to his friends in the industry to keep going. He had multiple investors but was not yet taking a salary more than to live on. He was working with an attorney in Las Vegas for his patent but sadly it was not complete.

Details are being handled by Rick's son who he loved more life itself, Trae Brandon Schmoldt.

We are raising money to cover funeral and memorial expenses as Ricks passing was completely unexpected.

If you can please add a memory about Rick even if you are unable to donate as these will be cherished by his family and memorialized for him.
