Richard W. Chin Memorial Plaque
Donation protected
Our father passed away on April 23, 2020 and we would like to commemorate him with a memorial plaque.
Our dad, Richard W. Chin, was kind, strong and always wanted to lend a helping hand to anyone who crossed his way. He was an essential worker as a NYPD School Safety Agent at P.S. 4 and previously, a supervisor at the U.S. Postal Service. As a School Safety Agent, he was most recently assigned to providing security and ensuring the safety of students, faculty and visitors of P.S. 4 in Arden Heights. He was an avid runner and bowler, and more importantly, he loved his children at P.S. 4.
Currently, we are reaching out to the Adopt-A-Bench program to be able to have a bench to honor our father at the South Beach-Franklin D. Roosevelt Boardwalk, where he always loved to run. We have many memories at the boardwalk and it is a very special place for us. Our dad used to take us to run races, go biking, and watch the fireworks there. With all our memories at this place, we want to dedicate a piece of the boardwalk to him.

Thank you for your love, support, and being a part of our father's life. Please help us meet our goal and honor our dad by sharing this. We welcome any contributions towards a memorial plaque. Location, total cost to be determined at a later date.
