Richard Weber Memorial Fundraiser
Donation protected
Dear Friends,
On March 19, 2020, Richard Weber, a partner in our firm, tragically passed away from complications from COVID-19 at the age of 57.
Richard leaves behind his best friend and partner, Antonio Shaw, his three children, Andrew Weber, Chloe Weber and Fiona Weber, as well as his parents Linda Maddalena and Richard Weber, Sr.
Richard was a dedicated and hard-working individual whose positive impact was felt by all who knew him. Outside of his work for Gallo Vitucci Klar, Richard gave much of his time to the New York and New Jersey non-profit legal communities. Richard was a longtime Board member of LeGal, the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York, and volunteered at a legal clinic for the LGBT community in New York City. Moreover, he spearheaded the establishment of a legal clinic for the LGBT community in New Jersey in partnership with Rutgers Law School and the New Jersey Bar Association.
Richard was a very warm, loving and vivacious individual, who provided boundless support and positivity to his friends and colleagues. We will remember Richard as always ready with a big smile, a friendly quip and an amusing or thoughtful story.
As an important member of the firm, Gallo Vitucci Klar is actively working to assist Richard’s family during this difficult time and has created this memorial fundraiser in his name. While Richard’s passing has obviously caused emotional pain and despair, it has also unfortunately placed significant financial stress on his partner and children.
Suffering and loss like this unite us so we can collectively overcome our challenges and move forward together. We recognize that during this public health crisis each of you faces your own difficulties and are thankful for any support that you can provide.
