Richard's campaign for EL SHADDAI WORSHIP CENTER

Dear Friends,

Want to join me in making a difference? EL SHADDAI WORSHIP CENTRE is currently seeking to purchase our own building to expand our ministry and to provide services to the extended community and the GTA. Our target date to reach this goal is October 7th, 2019 which is the closing date to make an offer on the property. 

Our vision is to see people of all nations saved, changed, discipled, equipped, empowered and sent. What that means is that we not only want to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the world and we believe that it is our responsibility as a church to influence and impact the community, the city, province, country and the world in our sphere of influence.

This request for funding is to help us acquire a property in the Toronto, Woodbridge area to help us fulfill our mandate as a church.

To give you a snapshot of why we need the land and property, please keep reading on. 

1) An educational centre that will help the community; individuals from different backgrounds, homes and cultures. Toronto is seeing an increase in gun violence and it is our mandate as a church to help the young people find themselves to become good citizens of the world. We seek to educate, provide scholarships and raise responsible individuals who will make a difference in this country. At EWC we tackle difficult issues in our youth & catalyst programs to help young people to overcome various challenges and trails. Topics in finance, self-confidence, career progression, education, marriage, responsibility are also covered.
Our educational centre will include a school, daycare and training facilities to provide the necessary foundation for children, youth and young adults to gain knowledge and develop the skills needed to live a successful life.
We seek to provide these services to give back to the community by assisting parents, providing jobs and to creating a safe space for all who enter. 

2) Accommodation services - In the GTA there are individuals who are homeless or might have fallen in unfortunate situations and require a place to live in order to get back on their feet. This property will allow EWC to provide accommodations for individuals who seek shelter and refuge during trying times. Accommodation is one of the necessities of life and we do not believe that anyone should be sleeping outside, especially during the brutal winters of Canada. At EWC we want to help change that.  We aim to provide a place where individuals can have--not only food, clothing and shelter, but an environment where they can have access to workshops, career fairs, training programs etc. EWC wants to provide the community and those in need with winter packs and food banks to help support daily needs. We have so much to do but we need your support to achieve it.

3) Drives - we love drives because we believe it provides temporary solace to those in need.  EWC provides food drives, clothing drives and relief programs. We have made it a point to support no matter how little it may seem because it is always received with great appreciation. We have supported individuals here in Canada and provided for people in the Caribbean and Africa. We seek to do more, but the resource constraint keeps our hands tied. Our current space limits our ability to invite people in need or to organize events on a scale that will make a major impact. That is where we want to get to, and it can only be done with your support. Come on the journey with us, Our motto is "Making Disciples. Impacting Nations"

El-Shaddai Worship Centre is not looking to build a church building, we are looking to build a city, a community centre, a place where all who are in need can come and find rest, peace, assurance. We are here to help those in our community (in need or not) to elevate and reach their full potential in life through Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour.

Luke 6:38 says

"Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back.”
