Rich Bencivenni's Recovery Fund

Dearest Family and Friends,
As most of you know, our family is going through a crisis. On February 11, 2016, our beloved husband, father and friend, Rich Bencivenni was hit by a car while crossing the street on vacation in San Diego. He was rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, where the doctors, nurses and medical staff saved his life. Rich sustained many serious injuries including a broken pelvis, femur, 10 ribs, 2 vertebrae and a mild brain injury. To complicate things further, he recently required amputation of eight fingers and both of his feet due to the medicine that saved his life.
Rich’s strength and resilience is truly remarkable and has made us all very proud. He is now embarking on the courageous road to rehabilitation and recovery.
We are so fortunate to have the gift of our loving family and friends beside us on this journey. Your heartfelt support and prayers have penetrated a truly dark time and has become a bright and guiding light for us. Thank You!
As Rich forges ahead, you have all asked what else can be done to help. A monetary gift would greatly assist in providing the much needed resources for Rich's current and future medical needs (including transport back to New Jersey, prosthetics, rehabilitation, etc). Our hearts are filled with gratitude for all of God's blessings and your unwavering support and goodness.
With Deepest Thanks,
The Bencivenni Family
(Any money given is considered a personal gift, not a tax deductible charitable donation. These gifts will go to a trust account for the benefit of Rich Bencivenni and his medical needs.)
