Richelle Still Fights as They Rule Out Leukemia

Wednesday the 22nd my sister went to work as a RN feeling ill. She fought to get through the shift... by Friday morning when she woke up she couldn't see. Her husband Ben took her to the hospital right away where she spent the day in critical care. When the doctors came in to talk to her husband they were told Richelle had suffered a stroke and they found a lesion next to her brainstem. That Wednesday when she went to the neurologist she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and was taken out of work for about a month so they could do the tests they needed and she could recover from the stroke. Monday October 2nd she was told she was being fired from her job because of how much time off she was taking.

Richelle is a mother of 5, witty, hard working, and never missed a single opportunity to be there for her friends and family every chance she got. She's one of the hardest workers out there and has been serving others as a RN for almost a decade.

Her family savings has been used up and now its our time to help her until the disability payments kick in.

Please help her, Ben, Jackson, Gabe, Hazel, and Noelle get through this hard time any way you can. Thank you

Update January 2024:

Richelle has gained some function back in her right leg but has begun experiencing seizures and her labs are looking more and more like the Lupus has spread to her brain and nerves. They are now ruling out leukemia. She says every day how grateful she is for all of the support she's been given. Now with long term disability taking more than 40 days to even give her an answer if she's been approved they are behind on all of their bills.
