Richie Pena Memorial Fund

Hello to all and God bless you. My name is Al Miranda and on behalf of Chrissy Pena, I am starting this fundraiser to help offset the cost for the funeral and other related expenses that Chrissy now has to bear due to the tragic passing of her husband, Richie Pena. Richie recently passed away on November 19, 2023, due to a tragic accident. The loss was unexpected and shocking to say the least. Richie honorably served as a police officer for the NYPD from 1992 - 2017. He was married to his lovely wife Chrissy for 23 years until he passed away. Richie had an impact on the lives of all those whose paths he crossed. He encouraged others when they faced their own challenges and he loved his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His zest for life was something that we all can aspire to and he has left a tremendous void in all of our lives, especially his wife, Chrissy. One friend of Richie's wrote these words, "Husband, father, brother, friend, servant…Child of God…There is a Rich Pena sized hole in my heart, as my friend, and brother, has left this world, and been united with our Lord and Savior…This man lived life to the fullest, always doing so while serving others…He dedicated his life to protecting and serving, not only the ones he loved, but also, the many he never met…So few people make a meaningful and irreplaceable impact on one’s life…Rich was one of those people…There is not enough time, or enough words, to express how much this man of God will be missed…" This pretty much sums it up regarding the person Richie was and how much he meant to all of us. Now I'm asking on behalf of Chrissy, to come together during this difficult time to help her with the unexpected expenses that have fallen on her lap. It's difficult enough to just grieve, but to grieve and to have this added burden makes it overwhelming. Please joining me in helping our dear friend, Chrissy, in her time of need.
