Richard Moll's Final Costs

Donation protected

Richard Moll, born in 1953, was the life of the party, making friends with anybody he met, always able to make people laugh and loved having fun while spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed cooking, specifically BBQ, or whatever his daughter special ordered. He loved motorcycles, music, and his puppy, Stella. He knew his wife, Jean, since he was 16. They started dating a couple years later and spent the better half of a century side by side, raising a family, working hard and loving their time together, no matter what life put in their path.
Richard Moll passed away on March 8th, 2016. He is survived by his wife, three children, and 5 grandchildren.  He had a lengthy medical history, including CHF, diabetes and as well as suffering multiple heart attacks.

His last hospitalization was in January this year and was sent home with oxygen. He never fully bounced back from this medical set-back. This past Monday he had a fever that led to him being noncoherent and lethargic, ultimately landing him in the ER with dehydration and a high white blood count on Tuesday afternoon. By 9pm that night, things were looking up as he was becoming responsive to medical treatment. However, a few hours later, he stopped breathing even with the attempts of the medical staff. The cause of this remains unknown as an autopsy has not yet been done.

Due to Rich's multiple diagnoses, he was forced into an early retirement in 2008 after several weeks in the ICU. His wife is the sole breadwinner in the home. With his sudden passing comes unexpected medical bills, funeral expenses and months of financial distress that his wife will have to handle on her own. Friends of the Moll family do not wish to see Jean suffer in this way while she is mourning the loss of her husband. Every thought, prayer and dollar is appreciated by the family as they adjust to life without their loving partner, father, and grandfather.

He was a one-of-a-kind guy, and the world would benefit from having more people like him in it. He will truly be missed.
