Rick and Robert Accident Fund

Just after 8:30am on the morning of July 9, 2018 Rick McPhail and Robert Anglin (a father and son-in-law team) were working on a home renovation at 1200 Blk N. Geuda Springs Rd. in Sumner County, when the whole home exploded. Rick was thrown from the 2nd floor and landed in the rubble, breaking his leg and both feet. He pulled himself to safety. Robert who had been in the basement was fully engulfed in flames. He managed to pull himself out of the active fire before he collapsed next to Rick on the ground. Rick will recover after surgeries on his leg and feet. Robert remains in a coma, with 2nd and 3rd degree burns to over 80% of his body, fighting for his life.
