Rick Fulcher Memorial Fund

Rick Fulcher passed away on Thursday January 16, 2020 after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just last month.  We loved him so dearly and are all still in shock of how quickly cancer took him away from us. 

So many people have reached out to see how they can support Vicki, Luke, and Kristin during this time, so I wanted to share some financial needs they are currently facing.

Unfortunately, Ricky did not have any life insurance, so the family is having to cover all of his medical and final expenses on their own.  Additionally, due to his illness, Rick was unable to work in December or January and Vicki is having to cover all of their normal expenses with just her salary. 

We are so grateful that Kristin and I were here in Virginia during this time anyway to spend time with the family and to help care for Ricky during his last weeks. Luke was here from South Carolina for Christmas break and stayed to help care for his dad as well. He has been on an extended leave the past several weeks and has lost two weeks pay at this point, so he could use some financial support as well.

We are so grateful for everyone’s love, support, prayers, and kindness over these last several weeks. We are asking that in lieu of flowers people would consider donating to this fund to help relieve some of the unexpected financial burden on Vicki and her kids.
