Rick Harris Memorial- Love Inc. Newberg

On September 10th, 2020 the community of Newberg lost an extraordinary man in Rick Harris.  He courageously battled melanoma for four years, during which he continued to inspire others with the positivity and faith he was so well know for.  Although he has moved on to be with our Heavenly Father, he will be missed and fondly remembered by many.

Ricks faith in Jesus Christ shaped his life which was marked by both generosity and service.  He served the community in many ways including at his local church, as well as through Love Inc, where were he served in many capacities including his role as a board member for the organization.  Sharing Jesus and helping others grow in faith were important to Rick, and the work that Love Inc. will do with these funds will continue that mission.  The mission of Love INC is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities In the Name of Christ. We connect churches and Christians to people in need.

Rick's family has requested that in his memory a donation fund be set up for Love Inc Newberg.  The donations collected in his honor will be used to help Love Inc share the love of Christ by meeting the needs of people in the local community.
