Hello Family and Friends,

On Saturday evening, Rick and DeAnna went grocery shopping at 5pm. They came home and Rick came into the house and sat down on the couch feeling lightheaded. He ended up going to bed around 7:30pm not feeling well. He didn't want to go in to the hospital. At about 2:30am on Sunday, February 6th, DeAnna woke up to Rick aggressively puking in the bathroom. Rick was puking so much, he stated he had chest pains and didn't feel well and to call 911. Ambulance showed up and brought him into Carris-Health Redwood Hospital as his vitals were very low. Rick had a chest X-Ray done that came back indicating there wasn't any problems. He was agitated that they couldn't do a CT scan to check more into his health issue. The doctor sedated Rick as they were going to fly him to St. Cloud hospital to get the help he needed. Before they could get him onto the stretcher, the medical staff had to perform CPR. Unfortunately, after almost an hour of CPR and fighting to pull through, Rick made his journey to the gates of heaven.
