Rick Hollingsworth

Rick (Richard) Roy Hollingsworth , at the age of 70, passed away unexpectedly but with great dignity after a brief but valiant battle with lung and brain cancer at the Niagara Falls General Hospital on November 30, 2023.

Rick’s cancer diagnosis came only a few weeks ago and was a shock to the family. The family expected to have 3 to 6 more months to spend quality time with Rick and prepare emotionally and financially for his passing, but instead only got a few weeks. Rick’s sudden passing was a blow to the family in so many ways.

In respect to Rick’s wishes, he was cremated at Funeral Home Essentials Cremation and Burial Services on Monday, December 4, 2023. A celebration of life will take place in June 2024.

We are asking for some support at this very difficult time in order to cover the costs of Rick’s cremation and end of life costs. We are a proud family, but Rick’s sudden diagnosis and death left us ill-equipped to deal with this financial burden.
