Hello everyone,
On July 3rd, 2023, a branch fell pulling the electrical wires away from our house and caught the house on fire. We were away for the holiday weekend 1.5 hours southwest of St.Louis. My son was at work and only found out about the fire when he tried to get home from work. We had 5 days of clothing but my son lost everything. Fortunately, Rick’s daughter has her mother and personal belongings at her house. Our cat, Sidi, was in the house and didn’t survive. That broke my heart.
We are working to rebuild our lives and could use your help. The insurance is not going to cover what we lost and we know we can’t replace everything. We are trying to get some semblance of normalcy and every donation will help us get started with rebuilding our lives.
We have been blessed so far with our lives and our health. We are grateful for our friends and family that came to our rescue. We are thankful for any donation given.
