Some of you know him as Rick, Compadre, or Chooch. No matter how you have crossed paths in life, you can say he is one of the most kind-hearted persons that would give you the shirt off his back. Rick has been diagnosed with Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC). This is an uncommon type of cancer that usually develops in the salivary glands or other areas of the head and neck. The next step is aggressively treating it with radiation and chemotherapy. The road ahead will be a tough one and will prevent him from working. How many of us have two incomes for our households? How many have one income for your household? Either way, removing one income has an impact on your everyday life. Like the poem “Footprints in the Sand” we must all walk beside him with God. Now it is time to unite and support him and his family. We are asking you to support this cause in any way you can. In less than two months, his life took a 180-degree turn. This fund will remain open until New Year's Day. We ask that you spread the word, as Estela and Rick would have done unselfishly for anyone in need.
