Rick's Big Heart

This is our friend Rick and his beautiful family. We know Rick as the ever-positive, fun loving, glass more than half full, creative musician and family man who loves his friends, bands, Red Sox, craft beer and polar bear of a dog.

We don't ever want to imagine a world without him and right now, he and his family are in need. Unfortunately this week (6/19), Rick was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and is currently under evaluation at the ICU. How symbolic that the man with the biggest heart had his own heart swell 3x the size of a regular heart -- the irony/levity isn't lost on any of us.

We will continue to post updates as we get them (Bailey has been invited as a page manager) but the bottom line is the best case scenario for Rick is 6-8 weeks of bedrest with no work and no gigs to support their family. You don't want to know the worst case scenario. It's already difficult enough with this pandemic but we can't allow him and his family to suffer any more, absorb any debt or not feel the love of their friends and family. 

If you know Rick and Bailey, you know they are always the first ones in line to help any of their friends and family in need but are never ones to reach out to ask help for themselves so this page was created by a friend (and one of Rick's bandmates who knows how much money he personally lost due to all events being canceled by COVID-19).



We are all rooting and praying for Rick but we hope you take that sentiment even further and help support a beautiful dad, husband, friend and bandmate and his family in this crazy time of need.
