Help Rick Kick Cancers Butt!

My name is Cory Hock and we are currently trying to raise money for our family back home in Wrightsville, Pennsylvania. Three weeks ago Rick Hock, my father, was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a cancer within his right tonsil, which had also spread to the lymph nodes in his neck. October of 2014 Rick went into the doctor for pain in his jaw and throat. It wasn't until March of 2015 that everything changed, when a specialist realized what was causing the pain. After many tests the diagnosis came back which was stage 4 cancer.

Our family was heartbroken when we heard the news but also very hopeful and determined to win this fight. Rick began his treatments of radiation and chemotherapy last week. He will endure six rounds of chemo over the next 7 weeks and radiation 5 days a week for those 7 weeks as well. Unfortunately, the cost of treatment is extremely high and insurance coverage is limited. Rick is a hardworking and determined soul and wanted to work throughout his treatments. For anyone who has endured these treatments, you know how hard they are on the body. Due to this, Rick will be unable to work at this time which makes this very difficult for the family, as their income will be cut in half. This is where we really need your help!

If you have ever experienced a family member fighting against cancer, you know finances are the last thing you want to be worried about. Any amount you can donate will be greatly appreciated in helping my family during this time and will help Rick beat this disease! The money that is donated will be used toward medical costs that will not be covered by insurance as well as general finances that can no longer be covered by Rick's salary.
