Ricki Hallock Family Housefire in Edmonton

Hi my name is Mike Schwenk and if you heard about this fire in Edmonton on Friday, you may know about this story.

What you may not know is the plight of the Hallock family since the fire.

I started this gofundme to help relocate and support Ricki Hallocks family from Edmonton after her family suffered a housefire and are now struggling to find somewhere to live while the building is being repaired.

There is an obvious need for clothing and other basics as well.

No humans were harmed thankfully but they also lost 4 dearly loved pets but 1 made it out!

Ricki is an amazing mother of a disabled child and also a very hardworking award winning instacart shopper known affectionately by many, many instacart customers as Miss Ricky !

But the holiday season left them struggling already and this housefire is a serious challenge on top.

Work is going to be difficult in the short term as well, as they deal with the obvious problems.

They have a 3 day Red Cross hotel voucher and no idea what will happen next and almost zero cash on hand.

No clues yet how long the house will be under repairs for.

So I thought I would set this up and appeal to the great people of this city to directly benefit their family, any donations go straight to them.

If you can spare anything at all it would go a long ways to giving this family some stability while they sort out this nightmare and will be greatly appreciated.
