Rickie's Bench at Hawk Mountain

Every September, the Esslinger family hike at Hawk Mountain to celebrate the life of Rickie Esslinger. With your help, we can honor Rickie and them with an honorary bench, which is handmade by the Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Center.  This bench will have Rickie Esslinger carved on it and be placed along the Lookout Trail near the South Lookout. We can surprise the Esslinger family with Rickie's bench at the annual hike in September 2018. Let's keep it a secret from Rick, Maureen, Tara and her family, and Kristen and her family until the hike. Please do not share on Facebook.

We need to raise $3000 by June 2018 so that Rickie's bench is ready in time to be unveiled to the Esslinger family during the hike. Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Center is a non-profit organization and you will receive a tax receipt with your donation. The money raised will also be used to continue the work at Hawk Mountain in Rickie's name, which is appreciated by Hawk Mountain Sanctuary Center.
