Hi Guys,

 

Please help us give Rick his life back. Rick had a medical emergency on July 3, 2021. He had a seizure and aspirated into his lungs causing life threatening lung failure. He was put on exhaustive treatment to save his life including ECMO which is an artificial lung and hemodialysis. The result was multiple organ failure, and some brain injury due to loss of oxygen.

 

On August 8th, the Doctors recommended "comfort care". His family requested more time, and through prayer and petition, the Lord had the final say and Rick began responding. A true miracle before our eyes!

 

UPDATE: Rick has beat all of the odds so far. He is not only responsive but aware— he is now in a skilled nursing facility, learning how to perform simple daily tasks. He is bed bound due to severe muscle atrophy, and will need intensive therapy to have a chance to have a somewhat normal life again. Rick is self-employed, and has no other means of income, not to mention extended therapies are required for him.

 

"And we know that in all things God works for the good for those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28.

 

 

I am asking for prayers and any financial help you can give. It can mean the difference of his quality of life moving forward. Rick has a long road ahead of him but I am confident that the Lord will see him through!
