Rick Thagard's Road to Recovery

Hello Everyone!
For those of you who don't know Rick Thagard, he is one of the funniest and most kind-hearted men you could ever meet. He loves his friends and his family with all his heart and has spent his life making sure they knew how much he appreciated them. Now it is our turn. Right now Rick is in Dallas, Texas waiting for a much needed lung transplant. He has been having lung problems for a long time now, but recent events caused it to become an emergency level issue--so he was medically flown down to Dallas. He is fighting incredibly hard to stay alive and stay strong right now while waiting on a transplant, and we know that God's plan will be done in the end.
We're here asking for all of your help because Rick needs not only financial support, but also all the prayers he can get right now. Rick is an incredibly tough man and a hard fighter, but he can't do it without all of you backing him up and lifting him up to God. Between the flight, the ICU stay, the ECMO surgery, the eventual transplant, and all the 3-6 months of room and board in Dallas--Rick is going to also need all the financial support he can get. We know that our goal of $50,000 might seem high, but we surpassed our original goal of $9,800 in only THREE days because of all of the love and support you all showed for Ricky. That's the kind of man he is--he inspires love. So we're aiming higher and putting faith in God that He will provide a way for Rick to pay this medical bills when his fight is finally over, so that he can get the rest he so desperately deserves.
