Paying Tribute to Ricky Carreiro

Hello Everyone,

My name is Falisha, Ricky was my brother in law, Michele my sister in law and I am creating this go fund me on Michele’s behalf. As a family we wanted to share that on January 25th around 4:45 am we lost one of the greatest people any of us have ever known. A beloved Father of two, Brother, Son, unc (uncle), partner and friend. Someone who never failed to brighten any room, and make you laugh until your stomach hurt. It doesn’t feel real for anyone who knew him. To say that we are all devastated would be an understatement.

Ricky was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in 2018. An aggressive form of brain cancer that stole so much of his life from him. Ricky fought hard for six years, he would often say “I’m gonna beat this” he never for a moment gave up. Even throughout the toughest battle, he still found time to make those around him laugh and smile and made the most of life. To know him is to love him.

Ricky truly deserves the best send off possible. With that being said, we are asking for any donations that you can contribute to go towards funeral costs and to help his partner Michele and his boys out financially.
