My name Is Joanna Chappell I’m asking for donations to help raise funds for my brother Ricky Chappell. Ricky lost his home, his possessions, and tragically, his dog, his best friend Gunner on March 30, 2023 in a devastating fire caused by his nephew(my son) who suffers from a chronic mental illness disorder. My brother has lost everything he worked his entire life for,,,,for helping MY Son,,,,, anyone who has a family member or loved one that is suffering from mental illness knows it takes a network of people, a lot of sleepless nights and a lot of love from family to endure the sometimes tragic events that evolve from there chaotic and dangerous behaviour, My parents and my Siblings are the support system who are there to pick up the pieces of such events and the affect it has on the whole family is staggering,, mentally physically and financially. I am absolutely horrified that my brother is left with nothing for helping my son, people come to my brother daily for help on everything from auto repair to helping me with my son, he is always there for people in need, he is a US army veteran, and an all around good guy. I’m asking for your prayers and your help in raising the funds needed to aid Ricky in the daunting task of rebuilding his home and life from scratch. Any donations will go directly to Ricky to help cover the cost of rebuilding, and essentials such as clothes, Furniture, household items etc. No donation is too small, everything helps!
