Hey everyone. My wife's father unexpectedly passed away from cancer on Nov. 1. His passing has left the family with a financial burden to not only give him a proper memorial service but to also have a family member travel to Kentucky to claim his remains. That task has been placed on Katie who will now have to pay to have her father cremated, return home to New Bern and travel to New York for a memorial service. All of this does not have a timeframe because of the uncertainty of when we will be able to do so with work and school. Not only is the travel a mentally and physically draining task but the time that has to be taken to put his affairs in order makes things extremely more difficult for her. If you know Katie, asking for this type of help is one of the hardest things she has ever done. We are asking for any type of help, support and love you can offer for her and our family.
