On behalf of the Macias family, Alexia and I want to share with you all that on Saturday, November 20th, our beloved baby brother Ricky, unexpectedly passed away.

We write while we mourn the sudden loss of our son, our brother, our uncle, our family, our friend.

We grieve over the loss of someone so young and struggle to understand why - struggle to learn that you were in so much pain. To know you was to love you.

Our protector, our champion, our biggest fan, we will miss you so incredibly much. Your infectious smile and contagious energy will forever linger in our hearts.

While our brother left us much too soon, he left us with a tremendous model of how to live our lives. With a passion for adventure, spontaneous spirit and deep belly laughs.

As requested by friends and family, we have created this GoFundMe as a means for donations to cover the unexpected expenses of Ricky’s services.

We are overwhelmed with the outpour of love and support received this far and we humbly ask for your continued thoughts and prayers as we mourn the loss of our loved one.
