Support Ricky Mancheese's family after his tragic murder

Hi, my name is Luanne Karn. I was Ricky's teacher for the past two years and I am fundraising a small amount of money to support for his family after his tragic and sudden death.

Ricky was killed in downtown Winnipeg in a violent assault and his family needs our financial support now. His twelve year old son is left without a father and his wife without her partner.

Ricky was only 49 years old and had been attending an adult education program with one of the local school divisions to upgrade his skills. He planned to work as a security guard after finishing his English and math upgrading this year.

Ricky was loving, funny, and committed to his family. He was a gentle giant who cared about everyone he met and had a genuine desire to support others around him. He will be terribly missed by his friends, family, and his community.
