Ricky Rueger, age 37, of Cannon Falls, died Monday night on the 4th of October at his home.
Ricky Joe Rueger was born on May 31, 1984, in Rice Lake, WI, the son of Adam and Denise (Idtensohn) Rueger. He grew up and lived in Cameron, Wi, until age 11, when he moved to Cannon Falls with his family. Ricky attended Cannon Falls High School. Following school, he worked several jobs including welding for Jeff’s Welding in Wanamingo and BTD in Lakeville as a Maintenance Tech. He also helped his brother working for Murphy’s Tree Service. On July 4, 2010, Ricky married Kysa Loken at Holden Lutheran Church. Ricky was a very generous and social person who could make friends very easily. He enjoyed spending time with his children Piper and Jaxson especially while they road their go-cart and dirt bike. His hobbies included four wheeling, motorcycles, tinkering, camping, and spending as much time as possible with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife Kysa; his children Piper and Jaxson; parents Adam and Denise Rueger, siblings Deven (Nicole Pelzl) Rueger, Beau (Karen Romig) Rueger, and Max Rueger; mother-in-law and father-in-law Don and Michelle Loken; brother-in-law Dillon (Lindsey Loken); grandmother, Connie Bradshaw; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Buddy Bradshaw and Richard and Thelma Rueger.
The goal for these funds is to assist those that Ricky is survived by in this time of need.
Any donations given by a BTD employee will be matched up to a total of $2500.00
