Ricky's Liver Transplant

Hi everyone! For those who dont know me Im Robyn, Ricky's ..well ex-step-daughter..basically his non biological daughter who has always been a pain in his ass

For anyone who has been following along with Ricky's journey. We have some good news. On Saturday night, Ricky received a call from his Transplant team. It was time. So bright and early Sunday morning we headed over to Halifax where he was admitted to the Victoria General. He had a full day of tests and went in for surgery at 7am for his Liver Transplant on November 28th

His 7+ hour surgery went very smoothly. He is currently recovering in the ICU. He is off of the ventilation and is currently resting. They are going to try and wake him this evening

This was a huge surgery and his journey of healing has only just begun. He has an expexted stay in the hospital for 4-8 weeks and then once discharged he wi have to remain living in Halifax for atleast a month to be close to the hospital for frequent checks.

We thought to start this for anyone who might be able to help him on his road to recover. If you know Ricky you know he would do anything to help out anyone in need. So please pay it forward if you can ❤️‍
