Pride Ride to benefit Kids in Crisis Lighthouse

Pride Ride is a special virtual charity event, hosted by Greenwich Democracy in Action group to raise funds for Kids in Crisis Lighthouse.
From June 17th to June 30th set a goal for yourself to exercise daily and donate to a great cause!
Ride outside or on a stationary bike, run around your neighborhood or on a treadmill, take your mom, dad or your dog for a walk, or run up and down your stairs. Do whatever you want, whenever you want, wherever you want!
All we ask is that you count every step, mile, yard, or stair, during the two weeks, share your progress with us on Facebook, and please make a donation to KIC.

The Greenwich Democracy in Action group seeks to empower youth to get involved in their community and bring awareness to issues that they are passionate about.
Kids in Crisis has provided critical crisis prevention and intervention to more than 148,000 children and their families in CT since 1978. Kids in Crisis is the only CT agency that provides free, 24/7 phone and in-person crisis counseling interventions and emergency shelter for any newborn to 17 year old. They also provide crisis prevention education and intervention programs in 23 Fairfield County Connecticut elementary, middle and high schools, and advocacy for kids at the national, regional, state, and local levels.
Lighthouse is a program offered by Kids in Crisis, serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning (LGBTQ) teens and their allies with a welcoming, safe space weekly meeting. Lighthouse encourages LGBTQ youth to live their best, healthiest, and most authentic lives.
