Ridgard Family Home Fire

A fire engulfed parts our beloved family home in Kingston, Jamaica. On the morning of Saturday, September 24, the home of our father, grandfather, and uncle, Winston Ridgard, along with his wife and thirteen-year-old son, experienced a fire. Thankfully, neither they nor the cat were in the house and are safe. The family is experiencing a great loss. Most of our family resides outside of Jamaica, and it is heartbreaking that we cannot be there to both physically and emotionally help pick up the pieces. Nothing can ever replace the sentimental items lost, but we are pleading for your financial assistance to make this a livable home again.

As we say in Jamaica, “Every mickle mek a muckle,” and “One, one coco full basket.” When you need help, it takes a village. No contribution is too small, and everything is deeply appreciated. We deeply value your contributions, thoughts, and prayers to help restore our family’s home.
