Riding for ruby

On February 1st Ruby left for Houston to visit a friend for a vacation. She was excited to get away to see new scenery. February 2nd things went left and turned for the worse! I got a call around 4pm saying that she was unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest! My heart dropped and my friends and I immediately got on the road and got to her soon as we could. She’s currently in West Houston Medical Center . When I got there she was on life support fighting for her life, after day 4 of being unresponsive the doctors were ready to give up and wanted me to take her off all support ! It broke me down but I soon then went into deep prayer! The next day she started making small improvements. She started responding to pain & moving . She’ll open her eyes here & there. Her days are now up in icu. Now she has to go to a ltac here in Houston til she’s stable enough to ride home. She has Medicare Part A & B . Medicare will only cover 50 miles . It’s 480 miles to get from the address in Houston to the address In Jackson where she resides. Therefore we are left with a up front payment of $3,500.00 to cover what’s left of those 480 miles to get her home. Any and all donations are welcomed, Ruby and I greatly appreciate you all.
