Hey everyone! As you consider supporting the Ridleys in our endeavor to obtain our permanent residence in the United States, please read our story!!!
All of us Ridleys come from a long line of dreamers. And since the minute our plane touched down in this charming, green, hot, humid, crawling-creature-filled spot on the planet, we've been hooked. It all started with a dream for Jessica to be able to make a living and touch lives with her singing career but it has become so much more than that.
Having lived in Nashville for five years with only one income - that being Jessica's through her work visa that permits her to make money singing, the Ridleys want to settle down and make this a permanent thing; living and working like those with the desire to chase the elusive "American dream".
And speaking of five years, that has been plently of time to adopt this special place as home. All of the kids are involved heavily at their schools, in our neighborhood and at church.
We truly adore this town, this country and this life we've built. Please help us make the dream come true!!
These are the facts about what attaining a permanent residence costs:
$6,420.00 for Green Card applications
$420.00 for a one time filing fee to government
$1500.00 for thorough medical examinations
$180.00 for green card photos
$3500.00 for my unwavering and awesome attorney
$1000.00 for miscellaneous expenses relating to travel, government fees and unforeseen expenses.
…which all adds up to a whopping $13,020.00!!!
