Ridley’s Road to Recovery

Ridley was seriously injured from a 50ft fall in early December. We are asking for support to help her and her family through her recovery.

She sustained multiple compound fractures in both legs, as well as bruising to her internal organs. She under went surgery to place pins and an exoskeleton to hold the broken bones together. Ridley will have another surgery on her spine after the swelling goes down.

Ridley is a very outgoing girl who makes friends wherever she goes. She finds joy in Marvel movies and any band instrument she picks up. Ridley loves being outdoors, her track and field team, long walks, dance, and competitive running. With her significant injuries, she will have three months in bed to heal before she can start the rehabilitation process to begin walking.

Ridley’s parents, Kristian and Aurora, and her siblings live in Prince Rupert. Ridley will be in Vancouver until she is stable enough to hopefully transfer to a hospital closer to her home. Kristian and Aurora will be off work to stay with their daughter while she recovers physically, and emotionally from her injuries. I’ve started this fundraiser to give them some love and support, and to ease some of the burden of the monthly expenses that will accumulate over the next several months.
