Rigby Strong-School Shooting-Victims and Heroes

Our community was rocked today as we had a school shooting at our middle school.  We are waiting for details and answers.  Some answers may never come.  We are mindful and prayerful for ALL involved in this tragedy.  Fortunately no one died, but 3 wounded and lives changed forever in the shooter, the victims and the students/faculty.  Reportedly, our school custodian, Jim Wilson, stood between the shooter and the students and was shot.  Mrs. Krista Gneiting was able to intervene, remove the gun and hug the student until police arrived. These acts of heroism should be rewarded!  Several gofundme accounts were established and money has been raised for Jim, Krista and the two children shot.  None have been set up for the shooter.  I would like some of the funds to go towards counseling for the shooter and for Krista Gneiting.   I do not have a personal relationship to either of the parties, but know people who do.  I will be delivering a personal check to both of them.  I, like you, have so many questions.  In the meantime, let us rally around each other to show support for our community and those impacted by today's tragedy.  Let us do our part to bring some healing to those involved.  Please also let our first responders and school administration/staff know how much we love and appreciate them!  They were truly amazing today.
