Rigoberto Mejia Gonzalez

Hi my name is Mariana Mejia . As many of you know my family and I are going through the toughest situation anyone can be put through. Saturday night a heartless human decided to stop by our family gathering and started to shoot. Shooting both my father Rigoberto Mejia Gonzalez and brother Miguel Mejia Couto also shot once at my cousins boyfriend Mark who was also injured but thankfully was discharged from the hospital. As for my brother Miguel Mejia he is still battling and fighting we ask for all the prayers we can get to help him get better. Unfortunately my dad was not able to fight his battle he was extremely injured he was shot multiple times we’re still not 100% sure as to how many bullets he got but we do know of 3 one of which went straight in his head and caused all the complications. Doctors did everything they could to help him but his brain was dead and nothing more could have been done .Anyone that knew my father knew he was a very nice and funny man he never did harm to anyone and had the greatest heart he was a strong and firm believer of god and his plans . He was declared dead February 5th at 7:55 pm leaving behind his wife , his 2 younger sons , his daughter(me), his 3 granddaughters and his oldest son Miguel who is fighting his battle. If anyone would like to donate and help us with hospital and funeral bills we will greatly appreciate it . I still continue to ask for prayers for my family and I to get through this pain and give us strength to be strong for my brother Miguel Mejia

Hola mi nombre es Mariana Mejía. Como muchos de ustedes saben, mi familia y yo estamos pasando por la situación más difícil que cualquiera pueda atravesar. El sábado por la noche, un humano desalmado decidió pasar por nuestra reunión familiar y comenzó a disparar. Disparar a mi padre Rigoberto Mejía González y a mi hermano Miguel Mejía Couto también le disparó una vez al novio de mi prima, Mark, quien también resultó herido pero afortunadamente fue dado de alta del hospital. mi hermano Miguel Mejía él todavía está luchando y luchando, pedimos todas las oraciones que podamos para ayudarlo a mejorar. Desafortunadamente, mi papá no pudo pelear su batalla, estaba extremadamente herido, recibió varios disparos. Todavía no estamos 100% seguros de cuántas balas recibió, pero sí sabemos de 3, una de las cuales fue directa a su cabeza y causó todas las complicaciones. Los médicos hicieron todo lo posible para ayudarlo, pero su cerebro estaba muerto y no se podía hacer nada más. Cualquiera que conociera a mi padre sabía que era un hombre muy amable y divertido, nunca le hizo daño a nadie y tenía el mejor corazón, era un hombre fuerte. y firme creyente de dios y sus planes. Fue declarado muerto el 5 de febrero a las 7:55 pm dejando atrás a su esposa, sus 2 hijos menores, su hija (yo), sus 3 nietas y su hijo mayor Miguel quien está peleando su batalla. Si alguien quisiera donar y ayudarnos con las facturas del hospital y del funeral, se lo agradeceríamos mucho. Todavía sigo pidiendo oraciones para que mi familia y yo superemos este dolor y nos demos fuerzas para ser fuertes por mi hermano Miguel Mejía.
