Rihana Shae's Debut Album

Hey! If you aren't privy already, I'm Rihana Shae. 

Long story short: I'm asking for financial support for the production of my debut album. 

Long story long:

I'm just a lady taking steps each day to build on my life's calling of writing songs and singing the sh*t out of them. This year I am making more music and content than ever and I am dreaming up some enchanting experiences for my supporters.  

1. I'm releasing my first album this year! I'm lit up by the idea of releasing a collection of songs as one piece of art.

2. My album release date is projected to coincide with my 30th birthday, this summer. I would love to host a lively release party with all of my day-ones. It's time to come out from behind the screen to connect with and perform for all my supporters!

In the past, I've struggled to break through these two barriers. I, myself, have likely been my own greatest roadblock, so I am actively getting out of my own way. The second largest pothole on my journey has been financial constraint, so I am here asking for your help. 

I write and record most of my music at home, but it can cost a cute penny for production build-out and audio mixing & mastering. It also costs money to publish music and have it distributed to streaming platforms. 

Up until now, I've taken the DIY approach or have been given a "homie-discount" for music videos and other visual content. I've enjoyed that creative process and I appreciate having generous friends in the industry. Moving forward, I would love to elevate the production and compensate my videographers/photographers and stylists at their full asking price, to support their craft as well. MUTUAL FLOURISHING! 

Allocation estimates:

$5,000 for the production of the songs on the album

$5,000 for photography and video production

$2,000 for promotion

$1,500 to set styling/personal styling & wardrobe

$ Any Excess goes to unforeseen costs or future releases post album-drop.
