Help my wife and I afford medical expenses

Hello, my name is Riley Davis. I am transgender and I am having a double mastectomy in October. This has been a long time coming, and a life time wait for me. I began my transition from female to male in 2018. I battle daily with depression, body dysmorphia, and anxiety, and have for years. I was born in the wrong body.. For me to wake up everyday in this body is taking a toll on me mentally and physically.

My wife, Jackie, and I have been planing this surgery for a couple years now. We finally had my consultation with the Dr. and I am cleared for surgery. We put 20% down to hold the date for surgery and have to pay the other 80%, in full, 3 weeks prior to the surgery. Jackie and I are usually not the ones to ask for help, but now is the time we need help.

The surgery will take place in Miami, FL. We have talked to Dr's from CA to NY, and we find she is the best fit for us. I have been following her for years and she does amazing work. We will fly down 2 days prior to surgery and will need to stay in Miami for at least 1 week after surgery. I will have a follow up appointment with the Dr. after one week to remove bandages and teach us about wound care. We will then fly home the following day. I will be out of work for at least 4 to 8 weeks. Jackie will be taking time off for the 1st 3-4 weeks as well, or longer if I need. I will be restricted from lifting my arms, as we don't want the scares to stretch, and will not be able to lift over 10lbs.
