Riley Riter 'Our Fighting Hero'
We have all donated to many Organizations & Great Causes, now it is time for us to show our love, support and encouragement to one of our own!! Jennifer Riter (one of our ARC assistants) has been faced with news that no parent in the world should have to be faced with for thier child. Her daughter 7 year old RIley, is now fighting her second battle of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Just one year ago, Riley became her own hero and was completely cleared of all signs of cancer. This past weekend Jennifer and her family were faced with that horrifying news once again. Riley has already undergone a bone marrow biopsy to confirm the news, she has undergone surgery to add a new port in her chest and has now begun the intensive round of Chemotherapy.
Jennifer is a single mom of 4 children and with this new battle on her hands, she is going to need to be with her daughter at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC for a minimum of the next 30 days.
We would love to be able to show this family our love, support and encouragement as they face this challenge ahead of them. Jennifer & her children are going to be faced with a long road of hardships in the upcoming days and with our love, support and encouragement we can make a difference in all of that for her.
We have set up this GoFundMe Account to be able to assist Jennifer in taking care of her finanical needs and her childrens needs during this incredibly hard time. Any support would be greatly appreciated and would make all of the difference in the world.
Let's show Riley that we are all here cheering her on & sending lots of love during her fight against Leukemia! Riley will be turning 8 years old next week and will be celebrating it in the midst her battle.
