Riley’s IVDD Surgery

Hi, dog lovers! Riley is our sweet, 5 year old, mini dachshund. She was recently diagnosed with IVDD and requires urgent spinal surgery.

She is still her vibrant, excitable self, just unable to use her back legs. While on steroids, we have seen a small improvement in her attitude and ability to wag her tail, but not enough of an improvement for her to be independently mobile.

Riley loves treats and giving all the best kisses with her unusually long tongue.

She’s so loving and would greet us with sassy vocalizations while hopping around in excitement. She loved to perch behind her mom, making sure to sneak kisses and snuggles.

Both her parents are educators. We want to help our sweet girl, but the $10,000 price tag is more than we can afford. We hope you can help us fund surgery for our bestest good girl.
