We are a group of dog owners and lovers fundraising to purchase property in the Hamilton/Halton region to accommodate a brick and mortar facility for a dog rescue/sanctuary in Southern Ontario where all our forgotten dogs will be given the care and attention they deserve. This GoFundMe is organized by Sue Rennick, Best Behaviour Dog Training Services (helping dog owners in the Oakville, Burlington and surrounding areas)

As the world begins to emerge from the shadows of the pandemic, we're faced with a heartbreaking reality: a growing number of dogs are being surrendered due to changing circumstances, leaving them vulnerable and in need of a lifeline. But amidst this darkness, we see an opportunity to shine a light of hope—a beacon of compassion and care for these precious creatures.

Our mission is to establish a dog rescue and sanctuary—Riley’s Roadhouse Rescue and Sanctuary. We refuse to let these loyal companions fall through the cracks.

Our vision extends far beyond the confines of a "virtual" rescue that is continuously seeking “foster families” to temporarily house these dogs. We envision a home, a sanctuary—a place where wagging tails replace tears, where playful barks drown out the echoes of abandonment, and where every creature—regardless of age, breed, or background—is welcomed with open arms and an open heart.

Imagine a place where every dog, regardless of their past, finds refuge, love, and a second chance at happiness. This is the vision we're tirelessly working towards at Riley’s Roadhouse Rescue and Sanctuary.
