Ring the Bells: Support Nikki's Cancer Journey

Our dear friend Nikki is a caring soul, a community building, an activist, and a heart forward woman. Nikki SHOWS UP for her people -- tending and nurturing her friendships and family, using her voice with and for others, and serving as a deep force for positive change in our community. Now, she needs our support.

In December, Nikki learned she is facing the challenging journey of battling breast cancer. While the prognosis is good, it's not without many challenges. Nikki has moved through surgery and chemotherapy over the past few months (she RANG THE BELL completing chemo last month!!) and is currently receiving radiation five times per week. She's also guarded her fertility from the impact of chemo and received care through a neuropathic oncologist. All of these providers have supported Nikki to take good care both now and for her future, AND the expected as well as unexpected costs of services, incurred debt, and additional medical interventions and costs to come are extensive.

In addition to these challenges, Nikki recently embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey to cultivate more equitable and inclusive communities and places of work. As the powerful founder and owner of Radical Impact Consulting, Nikki is building her client base. As a business owner, Nikki does not have access to employer-sponsored sick leave, PTO, and health care.

This GoFundMe campaign aims to provide Nikki with the financial support she needs to focus on her health, cover the costs of fertility and medical support, and ease the burden of the road she is walking. Let's come together as a community and share the load as she has done for us with such love for so long, so that she can dedicate the time and energy necessary for her healing.
