Brazil Floodings - HELP MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY!

Hi all,
my name is Vanessa and I'm a brazilian living in Sydney for the past 11 years. My home state in Brazil, Rio Grande do Sul (RS) is currently going through it's third calamity state situation in the past 12 months due to heavy rains and flooding.
There's been now 95 confirmed deaths, 1,4 million affected people, 451 thousand points without any electricity, 649 thousand people without running water, 200 towns without phone reception, 790 schools affected, being 388 of those decimated by the flooding, 52 turned into temporary shelters, 273 thousand students impacted with no classes at the moment. 95 points of 41 main highways are blocked, making the access of cars impossible to happen. 5.6 thousand pets have been rescued and are currently in shelters needing care and food.
I am raising money to send to my brother, Joao Vitor, and my cousins Patrick and Leonardo, who have been tirelessly working in the front lines of this tragedy by rescuing people and distribuiting food, water and hygiene basics to shelters. Other than that, they are also distributing pet food and supplies to shelters in need. So far, I've sent almost 400 dollars of your donations, and that has purchased water, food and supplies to 3 different shelters in the area of Viamao, Gravatai and Vale dos Sinos.
Rio Grande do Sul is the southernmost state in Brazil, with a population of 11.29 million people. Rains and heavy flooding seriously affect the area as RS's main source of income is agriculture and livestock, and the towns most affected are country small towns which rely on land for survival.
Any amount is highly appreciated and will personally mean a lot to me! I love my country and RS with all my heart and it saddens me to see so many people suffering due to global warming and natural tragedies like this.
