Rios Family Covid Assistance

My name is Moses Rios and I ask reaching out making a fund raiser to help with the expenses .

I am a commissioned sales professional at a Houston Dodge dealership, and I contracted Covid-19. My company sent out a company wide email, stating employees would be fully

compensated if they are fully vaccinated , but would only receive minimum wage, if you contracted Covid -19 and are not fully vaccinated. They also offered a 350 dollar incentive to get fully vaccinated by November 15th. I chose to start the process and get fully vaccinated.

I received the first dose of the Moderna Vaccine on October 22, 2021. I tested positive for Covid-19 on October 31st, and have been out of work since then. . Because I only received one dose of the Moderna vaccine, I was informed I would only receive minimum wage. Since, I was in the process of being fully vaccinated I can only receive minimum wage for 80 work hours, and I have no paid time off.

Despite, my efforts of quarantining and completely staying away from my family, 3 days after my Wife was diagnosed. Then after that all 3 of our kids had it as well. We haven’t been able to function and can barely take care of each other. We don’t have family and friends have helped with what they can. At this point we are going to lose everything. We rent so we cannot just push back out payments and they have giving us until November 26, 2021 to come up with the money if not we will get evicted.

We are asking for help, this has taken a completely and devastating toll on our family!
