R.I.P Evelyn "Puchis" Martinez

Hola, gracias de ante mano por su apoyo hacia mi primo Eber, Yazmin, y familia durante estos tiempos dificiles y dolorosos que dejan la perdida de su querida hija Evelyn.

Hello, thank you in advance for all your support towards my cousin Eber, Yazmin, and family during these difficult times as they mourn the loss of their beloved daughter Evelyn.

When you think of Evelyn, you instantly think of a ray of sunshine brightening anyone’s day with her tender smile and glistening eyes. Her generous and kind spirit was upon anyone who needed a helping hand. Courageous doesn’t begin to describe how our precious girl faced life. From taking on leadership roles at school to most recently battling multiple illnesses, Evelyn navigated every challenge with faith and optimism. She truly lived out Psalm 23:4 which says,

“Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.”

Although we deeply mourn our spunky, creative, and lively girl, we are thankful to God for giving us fourteen years of irreplaceable moments with her. We are confident she is rejoicing with our Lord in a new, pain-free body and smiling down upon us from heaven.
