RIP John "Jackie" Gleeson

John Gleeson,(58) of Pearl River NY, passed away suddenly May 8th. Born in Limerick, Ireland January 24th 1962 to Jack and Mary Gleeson. John was the youngest of three children.
John arrived to NY in 1986 where he began is career in sales but found his passion in Bar tending. While working in Brendan's bar The Bronx he met the love of his life Dymphna and they married in Dublin, Ireland in 1992. They moved to Pearl River in 1993 where they started their family and had two wonderful sons, Conor & Dylan.
John was the proud member of the AOH Division 3 for many years and was honored by being aide to the Grand Marshall in 1999. John will be remembered for the great Christmas and New Year's parties that he organised at the AOH and for his gift of the gab. His favorite saying was "you don't have to go home but you cant stay here!"
John was a hard working man with a great sense of humor and was generous to a fault.
He will be remembered for his love of family and friends and for being proud of his Irish heritage especially his Limerick roots.
John is survived by his wife Dymphna, sons Conor and Dylan, mother Mary and predeceased father Jack, sister Mary and brother Thomas. Aunts uncles and cousins, his many sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
