Tragic drowning of local Dad, leaves behind family

Luke Woods was 38 years-old and a loving partner to Kara and a doting father to their two sons, aged 7 and 15.
Sadly, on Wednesday 27th July, Luke visited Mudjimba Beach for a swim and never returned. Luke was found deceased three days later by a member of the public.
The devastation and loss that Kara and the boys have suffered is beyond all comprehension and whilst family and friends will do their best to rally around to support them, donations are being sought to help provide some financial relief to them as they navigate their future without Luke.
This Go Fund has been set up to assist Kara with the costs that she will undoubtedly face in planning Luke’s funeral and raising their two boys alone. Any amount to help relieve some of the pressure and allow Kara to focus on her boys is appreciated.
