RIP mokopuna Myka Tuala

My friend Va Tuala lives here on the GC and on New Years Day she received the phonecall that none of us Kiwis living overseas ever want to receive.  Tragically her one and only grandchild was killed in a head on collision in Whangarei.  I am aware of the support and love that people want to give Va however in reality what Va needs at this time is financial assistance.  As I’m sure you are all aware that Va not only needs emergency flights, which can be ridiculously high, but she will also need to do 2 weeks quarantine in NZ and 2 weeks in Aus when she returns.  This is a cost that not many of us can cover. To ease some stress for Va I have created this GoFund so that those that can assist can and that will allow this nanny some time to grieve her mokopuna.   Any help that you can offer will be much appreciated, your $5 is just as precious as another persons $100.
