RIP Our Boy Thomas Orman
Donation protected
This is Thomas Orman, an amazing 17 year old that loved life and his family. Despite having Aspergers all his life Thomas took this in his stride and went through life with a big smile on his face. Only in the last year had Thomas been able to work on his social skills and made his own friends which he was so happy about. Thomas and his family have spent the last 6 months in grief after losing his precious cousin Mia at 14 in a hit and run incident. To add to this pain it saddens me to say that last Friday 19th February 2021 following a suspected seizure which saw paramedics working on him for almost 2 hours Thomas sadly passed away.
Thomas was found by his 8 year old brother who tried to desperately save his life. Being the oldest of 7 children Thomas was the one the others looked up to and who parents Paul and Vanessa were so proud of for how determined he was to lead a normal and happy life.
As those local to Moston will know Thomas’s dad Paul has campaigned tirelessly to make Lightbowne road safe for our children to avoid another death like Mia’s. Now this is time to help him and his family. He and his children are traumatised by the events that led to Thomas’s death they cannot bear to be in the place they once called home.
The family have asked for your help to raise funds to allow Paul and Vanessa to move to a new home to avoid their children having a daily reminder of the most tragic event in their life. Alongside this any monies raised will allow the family to give Thomas the send off he deserves.
Please donate no matter how big or small and if you cannot donate please share to help this reach far and wide.
No parent should have to lose a child, but to lose one in such tragic circumstances is something none of us wish to go through.
R.I.P Thomas Orman ♥️
