RIP Rafael Steven Lazo

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the tragic news of the passing of my cousin, Rafael Steven Lazo. This fundraiser is organized to help my Tia who sadly lost her youngest son. On January 15th, Steve went to the hospital for severe pain. My family and I received a call on January 18th that no family would ever want to hear. My cousin Steve was in critical condition. Today after 5PM he took his last breathe. He was taken from us far too soon and unexpectedly. My family is devastated by his loss and we were not prepared. We want to give Steve the memorial he deserves, honor his memory, and say our last goodbye. This GoFundMe is to help alleviate some of the expenses for Steve’s mom. Any remaining funds will go to his daughter Alexa. We will never forget You Steveeeee!!!! and the impact you had on those around you. Words can't describe how suddenly your passing at the young age of 30 has affected all of us, especially your daughter.

 A prayer Father God, the pain I am feeling now is too hard to bear. There is so much sorrow and pain that I can’t deal with on my own. I am holding onto You, for You are my rock and my fortress. The hole in my heart can only be mended by You. Remind me of Your unfailing love and comfort me during this difficult time. I know that Your grace is more than sufficient to carry me through this heartache. Though my heart grieves over my beloved, my faith assures me that this loss is not a bitter one. My loved one may no longer be with me, but I know they have been reunited with You, and that alone should be celebrated. This time of loss brings me closer to You, for only You can sustain me and bring me hope. Glory to God in the highest. Amen
